Partnerships

Open Regional News considers collaborations that complement its coverage of regional geography and identity while keeping editorial work independent. We accept clearly identified partner placements and relevant sponsored material, subject to fit and transparent labelling.

Suitable collaborations

We consider partnerships connected to maps, place-based learning, regional interpretation and related cultural or educational projects. A proposal should explain the intended audience, the format, the partner's role and any requested visibility. Relevance to the publication and its readers matters more than broad promotional reach.

Partner placements

We may accept standing partner placements, including clearly marked links or references, when the subject is relevant and the presentation is appropriate. Each placement is labelled as a partnership or sponsored material at the point of display. A placement does not imply editorial endorsement, and it does not determine coverage.

Editorial boundaries

Partners cannot approve, rewrite or suppress independent editorial work. We do not accept collaborations that require undisclosed promotion, misleading claims or the appearance of impartial reporting where material is promotional.
